It’s time to go back in time in Texas! The Texas Renaissance Festival is almost here again, starting up October 12 and running through December 1. Held northwest of Houston, this is the largest themed Renaissance Festival in the U.S. and offers plenty of fun for the whole family.
The park covers 55-acres with eight different themed villages. Feast to your heart’s desire at one of the many pubs, shops and arenas. Watch a joust, bird of prey, circus show or Shakespeare performance at one of the many theaters around the festival grounds. And purchase gifts and souvenirs from various artisans and merchants. Browse candles, art, clothing, musical instruments and more representing the Renaissance era.
There are also many themed weekends throughout the festival, including Oktoberfest, All Hallow’s Eve, Pirate Adventure, Celtic Christmas and more. And there are plenty of games, rides and shows for the kids.
